
NORTHERN NAVIGATORS Invite you to a local event at The Cragg Estate & Chesterhope Common Sunday, 7th June 2009 P R O V I S I O N A L D E T A I L S Travel : The event will be 'O' signed from the A68 at Ridsdale, 23km north of Corbridge, grid ref NY908844 Turn west onto minor road. Parking : On a grassy area, off the minor road to Broomhope at grid ref NY892842 Registration : from 10.00 – 12.00. Starts : from 10.30 - 12.30. Courses : Yellow, orange, light green, green, blue, brown. Fees : Seniors (M/W21 and over) - £7 (£2 discount with current BOF card) Juniors (M/W20 and under) and students - £2 Schoolchildren - £1 Entries : There is NO pre-entry for this event. First come first served. EPS : This event is to use the EMIT electronic punching system. EMIT cards (bricks) will be available to hire on the day free of charge. Competitors will be responsible for these cards and will be charged for their loss. Instruction in the use of the system will be available on the day. Map : Scale 1:10000, 5m contours, original survey by Maurice Swales with updates by Dave Brook (2002), drawn by Dave Caudwell using OCAD. Area last used November 2002. Facilities : Portable toilet, orange squash at finish. Dogs : Sorry, dogs are not allowed on the courses or in the parking area - there will be stock in the fields. If you must bring a dog, there may be space to park off the single track road after Ridsdale, before you turn left onto the area - this is about 800m from registration. Results : Individual split times will be available at the download station on the day. Simple results will also be posted periodically here.
