Organsiser / planners comments - Rob McKenna
Many thanks for all turning up - I hope you enjoyed the area and the courses - pity about the weather.
Silksworth, although hilly, can be very fast (again proven by Ed - sub 5 minute k's).
The threat of vandalism on the area forced us to use the permanent course type controls,
but I tried to keep the control sites simple so they wouldn't be too hard to spot.
The overbearing nature of some of the local youths did force one of our competitors to retire early
and I must apologise for this.
Please forward any comments or queries on the results to me.
If anybody would like a copy of their part 1 or 2 maps, I will bring them along to the next Wednesday evening event at Jesmond.
