Things went well from my point of view, apart from a slight altercation with Security. I mean, did I look like Osama Bin Laden in a salmon pink ball gown? I hope that those of you who were new to the sport weren't too traumatised by the experience, and that we'll see you again at an orienteering event in the not too distant future. And speaking of which, an ideal opportunity to hone your new found skills might be at the next Northern Navigators event on Saturday, at Bishop Auckland Park, Co. Durham. Details are on the club website. NN's final contribution to the Great North Forest series of events is a week on Wednesday at Moor House Scout Camp, just off the A690 to the north of junction 62 of the A1(M) when we stage the Relays and BBQ, again, details on the club website.
