Organisers comments - Rob McKenna Many thanks for all turning up to support this event - with your generous donations, we managed to raise a total of �220 which will go to the St.Claires Hospice. I hope you all enjoyed your runs on what turned out to be a pleasanter day that what was forecast a week earlier. There were a few new control sites that may have taken you to unchartered areas of the wood but inevitably it is difficult to totally avoid the brambles. Sorry for the missing times in the results, but we were rather caught out by the rush near the 60 minute mark and couldn't keep tabs on finishers. I thought that we had this planned to avoid the usual backlog but things didn't quite work out. Well done to David Sprot in collecting all the controls in a very fast time - for those who are interested his route was as follows: 15,17,16,24,23,22,21,20,19,18,14,13,12,11,10,8,7,6,5,4,9,1,2,3,27,26,25 Rory Matheson finished a creditable 3rd and his route was: 1,2,9,10,8,7,6,5,4,3,27,26,24,23,22,21,20,19,18,13,12,11,14,15,17,16,25 If you would like your route published or feel that your time or number of controls is wrong then drop me a line.
